The cross-border region of Greece – Albania addresses a major challenge: population decrease due to brain drain phenomenon accompanied by high unemployment rates for young educated people. The ACCEL project synthesizes state-of-the-art business support tools, methods and practices such as incubation accelerators and ideas incubation to support existing and new businesses to grow by developing new innovative products and processes. At the same time, it brings together young educated people and businesses to collaborate on innovation development by enhancing their networking with the business community and creating new job opportunities.
